We are looking for an Accountant specialized in Canadian accounting to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing the accounting for our operations in Canada, including preparing and overseeing tax filings and financial statements.
Working hours are adjusted to the Canadian market from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a one-hour break.
Responsabilites
- General and subsidiary ledger maintenance
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor and ensure compliance with filing deadlines for QST, GST, and other relevant taxes
- Handle tax filings for T1, T2, T3, T4, and their preparation
- Knowledge of specific forms required for income and expense reporting
- Apply Canadian accounting standards to all operations
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience in Canadian accounting
- Knowledge of Canadian tax requirements: QST, GST, and filing deadlines
- Proficiency in financial statements and financial reporting
- Experience with Canadian market accounting software
- Proficiency in Odoo or another ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
