We are looking for an experienced BIM Designer/Architect to join our team at Kiffcom Tunisie, based in Lafayette, Tunis. You will work closely with our client located in Florida, USA, to develop and optimize 3D BIM models for a variety of construction projects. This position requires a BIM modeling professional capable of designing accurate models and performing advanced photometric analyses. This essential role aims to ensure the quality, coordination, and compliance of the models using the latest BIM technologies and analysis software.
Working hours are from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM to align with our client’s time zone.
Responsabilites
- 3D BIM Modeling: Develop detailed 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
- Photometric and Natural Light Analysis: Conduct photometric studies and analyze the effectiveness of natural and artificial lighting using specialized tools (AGI32, LightStanza, Dialux, ClimateStudio, IESVE)
- Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (architects, engineers, contractors) to ensure smooth integration of BIM models
- Review and Optimization: Evaluate BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards
- Technical Documentation: Generate clear technical documentation and precise drawings from BIM models
- Technology Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest advancements in BIM technologies, software, and industry standards
Required Skills
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in BIM modeling and proficiency with Revit
- Expertise in photometric analysis software (AGI32, LightStanza, Dialux)
- Knowledge of building codes, industry regulations, and standards
- Strong communication skills, team collaboration, and interpersonal relations
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
- Proficiency in written and spoken French; advanced level of English to interact with our U.S. client
Nice to Have
- BIM certifications such as BIM Manager, Autodesk Certified Professional, or equivalents
- Advanced knowledge of BIM software such as Navisworks, BIM 360, and SketchUp.
- Experience in scripting and automation (Dynamo for Revit) to improve modeling efficiency
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project
- Knowledge in energy and sustainability (e.g., LEED certification) to integrate ecological approaches into construction projects
