We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure and implementing robust DevOps solutions. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and availability of our services while optimizing development and deployment processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure, including creating Docker containers, unit testing, and documentation
- Monitor production and provide technical support to ensure service availability
- Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on business and technical priorities
- Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to track development progress
- Collaborate with the development team to address issues and obstacles
- Regularly communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed on project progress
- Stay up to date with trends and advancements in product management and DevOps development
- Adapt to a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
- Significant experience in designing and managing IT infrastructure, preferably using open-source tools
- Excellent team management skills and ability to motivate and support team members
- Experience in administering and configuring Linux systems
- Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL and key-value data storage systems like Redis
- Expertise in container deployment and management with Kubernetes and Docker
- Advanced use of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and GitLab for automating development and deployment processes
- In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for managing cloud infrastructures
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for project management and iterative development
- Knowledge of web infrastructure components such as web servers, DNS services, and firewalls to ensure the security and availability of applications
- Proficiency in using tools like Ansible, RedHat, and LPIC for system configuration automation
Nice to have
- DevOps certification or cloud security certification (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Scrum Master certification or PMI-ACP
- Technological curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining the quality of deliverables
